Brunswick Railroad Station Historic Site is Recognized

On April 1st, the Brunswick Rotary Club presented their 12th Historic Site recognition to the Town of Brunswick at the Brunswick Visitor Center. A shiny bronze plaque was unveiled in recognition of the history of rail transportation in Brunswick. Read more…

The Brunswick Station Visitor Center

Brunswick Station is a mixed-use development featuring restaurants, retail shops, office space, an inn, and a train station. Within steps of Bowdoin College, this facility offers a warm welcome to the charms of Brunswick, Maine.

At the Visitor Center friendly and knowledgeable Greeters will help you find your way around town and our region. They will provide you with an array of printed materials showcasing the best of the Southern Mid Coast, including four new guides to Brunswick Dining, Lodging, Shopping and Entertainment.

The Brunswick Station Visitor Center offers the following transportation options:

The Amtrak Downeaster now offers train service from Brunswick to Freeport, Portland, and Boston. For pricing and the new schedule, effective November 1st, click here

Maine Eastern Railroad provides train service between Brunswick and Rockland three seasons of the year. Trains leave Brunswick for Rockland Saturdays starting in early spring. Full Season schedule begins in late June, Wednesday through Saturday, then Wednesday - Sunday starting in the fall, with special Holiday Trains in December. Concord Coach Lines bus service offers two departures south and two departures north each day of the week (with an extra departure time southward on Sundays). Visit Concord's website for further details.

The Brunswick Explorer provides local public transit service throughout the Town of Brunswick. For route and schedule information, visit www.brunswickexplorer.org.
